Dhruva-3 inaugurated

Dhruva-3, the latest in series of indigenous High Performance computing systems designed and set up by DRDO for solving mission critical defence R&D applications was inaugurated on Saturday by Avinash Chander, scientific adviser to raksha mantri, secretary department of defence R&D and DG DRDO, at Advanced Numerical Research and Analysis Group in Hyderabad. ‘Its a high end facility very useful for the design of aircraft particularly Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft — and other such aircrafts where we require analysis of aerodynamics at high speeds and under different conditions,’ said Chander.
