Two Indians Dhruthi Venugopal and Riya Bhatia, along with South Korea’s Pei-Chi Lee made it to the second round of the singles at the USD 25,000 Endurance Aurangabad Open Women’s ITF Tennis Championships which got underway at the EMMTC tennis courts on Monday.
In the three singles matches played on Monday, Commonwealth Youth Games gold medalist and wild card Dhruthi scored a hard-fought win against former national champion Sai Samhitha Chamarthi.
