Gurugram: A 52-year old woman who was suffering from depression committed suicide by jumping from the 18th floor of Regal Gardens condominium society in Sector-92.
The deceased who has been identified as Gurmeet Kaur took her life at around 5 am. She is survived by her husband and two children. Her husband named Iqbal Singh is a businessman. According to the family members, Kaur was feeling mentally disturbed for the last two months.
No suicide note has been found by the police and the case has been registered at the Sector-10 police station.
"Prima facie, this case seems to be that of suicide but we are completing all the formalities in the case. We are in touch with the family members and are trying to know the reasons that made her take this extreme step," said a senior police official from Gurugram police.
