Unfaithful wife who kept second marriage secret killed by 1st husband

New Delhi: A woman, who married twice but kept it secret from both the husbands of her, was murdered in Delhi's Narela by her first husband Bhola on May 1.  

Her decomposed body was found in her rented house in Narela while her husband was absconding.

Police later said that Bhola murdered the woman after he found of her involvement with another man but thought it to be an extramarital affair.

Bhola was later arrested from Prayagraj Railway station.

Police was informed by the landlord on May 1 that some foul smell was coming from his tenant's house. In the presence of police, the door was broke open where the decomposed body of a female was found wrapped in a blanket.

A piece of cloth was found stuffed into her mouth and her limbs were also tied with cloth pieces.

A murder case was registered at Narela police station and a team was formed to trace the husband who was found missing. The husband was last seen on April 28.

Upon thorough enquiry at Sitamarhi, the native place of the accused husband Bhola, it was revealed that the suspect had fled away to Mumbai.

Police then contacted one of his friends in Mumbai telephonically and tactfully interviewed about the present whereabouts of the suspect Bhola who told police that Bhola has boarded the train for the return to Sitamarhi on 4 May.

Wasting no time, the Delhi Police team departed from Sitamarhi for Parayagraj in the night and laid a trap for the train.

"As soon as the train arrived, the team conducted search for the accused Bhola in the train with the help of his photo and nabbed him from one coach. A Kanthi worn by him helped a lot in confirming his identity," said Gaurav Sharma, DCP Outer North. The accused told police that his wife was unfaithful and often disappeared even for months without is consent. Even if the accused tried abandoning her, she threatened him with police complaint.

The woman was also having as second marriage and frequented Bhola by telling her second husband that Bhola is her brother. During a quarrel, Bhola tied her limbs and wrapped her in a blanket after strangulating her.
