Two nabbed for killing man who abused them

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police have arrested a man and apprehended a juvenile for murdering a man in Kakrola village who reportedly offended them by hurling expletives at them.
Pramod Singh (20) and the juvenile had murdered Mukesh, a 45-year-old resident of Kakrola village in Dwarka, last Thursday.
During investigation, a police team analysed footage from several CCTV cameras, based on which few people emerged to be the key suspects.
After interrogating all the suspects, cops eventually zeroed in on Pramod and the juvenile, who were involved in supplying drinking water in an adjacent area in a Tata Ace vehicle. Both the accused broke down during interrogation and confessed to the crime.
At the time, Mukesh was reportedly intoxicated and abused them verbally. Enraged, the two beat him up, banged his head against a concrete wall and strangled him to deat.
"Pramod tried to destroy evidence by washing his blood stained clothes. The clothes of the deceased have been recovered," said DCP (Dwarka) Shibesh Singh.
