New Delhi: Delhi Police arrests three snatchers cum burglars of an interstate gang involved in several cases of snatching, theft and burglary.
With their arrest, one stolen scooty, seven stolen mobile phones, four snatched gold chains, two pair of gold ear tops, four gold ring, silver utensils and housebreaking equipment were recovered from their possession.
The arrested accused have been identified as Radhey Shyam, Bablu Lal, Pappu all residents of Rajasthan.
During this process, secret information was received that suspects involved in snatching and robbery will visit near Anand Property, Bengali Basti, Rangpuri. Acting on the tipoff, a trap was laid near the expected place of arrival to nab the accused persons.
After some time accused persons were spotted riding on a scooty, and were signalled to stop. But instead stopping, they tried to sped away.
The Police team immediately swung into action and successfully apprehended all of the accused persons after a brief chase.
They were asked to show the relevant documents of scooty on which they were riding, but all them failed to do so. During the personal search of accused Radhey Shyam, Babu Lal and Pappu, seven stolen mobile phones, four snatched gold chains and house breaking equipment were recovered from their possession.
Accused Babu Lal is the leader of the gang, he along with his associates Pappu and Radhey Shyam used to patrol on scooty or motorcycle in the areas of Delhi during day time.
They used to spot soft targets and after the commission of crime all of them left the area. One of the accused used to mislead target and the other two accused persons commit the crime after his signal. They also used to break into the locked premise and usually commit a crime during day time.
