Ghaziabad: To overcome the menace of waterlogging in the city, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), on Sunday laid the foundation stone for construction of RCC sewerage, along the GT Road at Mohan Nagar in Ghaziabad.

Senior officials of the Authority said the construction work will be done along the right side at GT Road, from Mohan Nagar to Rajendra Nagar and Rajendra Nagar to Shaheed Nagar in Ghaziabad.

Once completed the project will end the woes of water logging in the city," said the GDA official.

The event for laying the foundation stone took place at Shyam Park Extension on Sunday morning.
