Research methodology workshop ends on high note at IP university

New Delhi: University School of Mass Communication(USMC) of Indraprastha University in collaboration with Indian Council of Social Science Research ( ICSSR) had organised a five days workshop from 18 to 22nd February on 'Research Methodology for PhD Students in Communication Studies' at the Dwarka campus of the University.

The workshop concluded on Friday. All the 25 participants came from various universities of the country were given participation certificates on the occasion by the chief guests of the occasion Prof K Sriniwas of NIPEA and Prof Deepak Shinde of SRTM University, Nanded.

According to Convener of this workshop Dr Durgesh Tripathi, Assistant Professor – USMC, the workshop was designed to impart knowledge on Research Methodology in the context of qualitative and quantitative methods along with training in statistical packages across various fields of social sciences and communication studies.

This was the third workshop in the last couple of years on Research Methodology organised by the department.

Around one dozen resource persons came from across the country and globe lamented on various dimensions and latest tools of the Research Methodology at different sessions of this five – day workshop of the University.
