Police stations in Gautam Budh Nagar, Gzb undertake cleanliness drive

Following CM Yogi Adityanath's appeal for cleanliness in government offices, sanitation drives were carried out in different police stations and offices of Senior Superintendents of Police in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad.

Senior police officials, on Friday, were seen participating actively with brooms in hand. In almost every police station across the two districts, cleaning was done by the concerned staff members, including the inspectors and sub-inspectors.

Anuj Kumar, SHO, Surajpur police Station, Greater Noida said: "Cleaning was ordered following an oath taken up by all staff members of the police station. The officials were directed to fix all the defects in police station. The drive was conducted in every nooks and corner of the police station. Water coolers and toilets were cleaned and old office files were disposed of and necessary one were kept in a proper order. All staff members took an oath to maintain cleanliness in the police station in future as well. The paan stains will also be removed and the walls will be again painted".

"To make the premises look beautiful, several flower pots were also placed in the station area" added kumar.

In the office of Noida's Senior Superintendent of Police, senior officials were seen participating actively. Traffic Superintendent of Noida Police Prabal Pratap Singh also participated in the cleanliness drive. Dust masks were also distributed among all the staff members.

Similar drives were taken in the police stations of Ghaziabad as well, where the cops wore gloves and took the equipments to clean their premises.
