Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received death threats on his official mail that mentions involvement of three persons. However, the person who sent the mail has not disclosed identity of the three persons but rather mentions three mobile numbers.
"We are taking the mail very seriously. The person has mentioned three mobile numbers from which he says the Delhi CM is under threat. The case has been given to Crime Branch for investigation," said Deepender Pathak, Joint CP (South Western Range).
Earlier, the Delhi Chief Minister's office was thrown into a tizzy when they received a mail from an anonymous person stating that three men might attack Kejriwal on Republic Day.
Delhi Home Secretary S N Sahay has apprised Police Commissioner Verma about the threat and requested him to look into it urgently. Soon after, he forwarded the mail to the concerned officials.
