A girl, who was apparently dazzled by the glitter and glamour of becoming a movie star, was reported missing from her home in West Delhi's Hari Nagar area on Monday.

Luckily for her parents, the 14-year-old was traced by the Delhi Police from Shahibabad, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday after she made a video call to her parents.

The girl had left home to give auditions in a music company, YYYY Music Co. Since she had left the house on her own will, no criminal case has been initiated against the company's owner.
On Monday, around 8 pm, her father reported the incident and later registered a complaint at Hari Nagar police station where he informed the cops that the girl was missing since the afternoon.
Eventually, the girl contacted the family through a video call and informed them that she was safe and had gone away on her own accord.

"She contacted one of her family members through the internet. The video was scrutinised closely and an Apache motorcycle in the background was seen parked in the house. The number plate of the motorcycle was examined closely and the owner's identity was ascertained. The girl was traced from the house of the motorcycle owner," said a senior police official.

While speaking to the cops, the girl said that she wanted to work in the film industry. The cops contacted the owner of YYYY Music Co, who informed them that the girl contacted the company via phone for a music album audition.
