New Delhi: A 29-year-old man shot at his friend after a heated argument during their phone conversation in Vasant Kunj in South West Delhi.
The accused was identified as Lalit who was arrested from Gurugram on July 6. The police claimed that on the day of the incident, Lalit along with his three associates had come to meet his old friend Tushar in Satya Niketan.
They all had food and beverages at this get-together. Thereafter, Lalit dialled one of his friends Tushar to ascertain his well being. Lalit who was heavily drunk had a heated argument during their phone conversation which angered Lalit.
He immediately took an exit from the house with a weapon and rushed to Satya Niketan market where Tushar was and fired two rounds from his revolver at him.
The police started the search for the accused and scanned areas around pubs on MG Road in Gurugram and Hauz Khas in Delhi. At least, 125 persons were interrogated by the police before the accused was nailed down. Finally, he was arrested from Udyog Vihar, Gurugram.
