New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a humid day on Wednesday even as the minimum temperature settled at 28.2 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The relative humidity at 8:30 am was recorded at 83 per cent.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Department.
The weatherman has forecast cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder or lightning later in the day.
On Tuesday, the capital city had recorded a high of 36.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, and a low of 27.4 degrees Celsius.
The weather department had also said that the capital was in for dry and hot weather for another two to three days before a spell of "good rains" provides some relief to city residents.
