Steps have been taken by the district management regarding several complaints of government facilities of isolation centres and quarantine facilities not being up to the mark in terms of cleanliness and other facilities. Moreover, increase in COVID-19 cases in Gurugram has adversely impacted the business of hotels.

"Isolation is the only solution that we have right now to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. We have now approved a set of hotels that will provide paid quarantine facilities especially to those people who have returned from abroad. I want to request these people that even if you do not have the symptoms there are high chances that you can be a potential carrier. Try to minimise human contact for at least 10 days," said Amit Khatri, the Gurugram Deputy Commissioner.

To deal with the spread of COVID-19, the quantity of quarantine and isolation centres in the city have been ramped up. There are over 1,000 beds for those who have been kept under the observation.

In addition to this, the testing centres in private labs and hospitals have also been given the permission.
