New Delhi: The Economic and Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has started their probe in the case where complainant alleged that she was duped by real estate company named Supertech Limited and their directors, officials.
Police said that the company has advertised for booking flats in various newspapers.
"The buyers has booked different flats of different sizes in the project named Czar Suites. As a matter of proof allotment letter, Supertech issued acceptance letter and various other documents," police said.
According to police, on recent queries with the office staff of the above company and a visit to the site of the project, the buyers found that proposed project have neither developed as per the plan at the site nor got any approval from the competent state government.
Authorities further, they have stopped even entertaining the complaints and attending telephone calls. The complainant further said that pertinently despite full payments in regards to the residential unit and in some cases no dues certificate duly issued by the company possession of the residential units has been denied to buyers on one pretext or other.
"The suspects with the intention to cheat them misrepresented the fact that all the requisite authorization has already been obtained from all concerned authorities and statutory bodies and had also shown them the forged sanction letters of authorities in order to receive their hard-earned money in the form of payment for the residential unit," complainant told police.
Police have registered a case under sections 420, 406,409 and 120B of IPC.
