NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) was recognised as a ‘Sustainability Champion’ by the Department of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College, during a CME event titled Green and Healthy Transportation Systems held on World Environment Day. DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar accepted the award, stating that sustainable transport is not only vital for the environment but also essential for public health.
