Dhaba owner shot at in E Delhi

New Delhi: An eatery owner was shot by a customer with whom he had an argument on mobile charging in East Delhi's Ashok Nagar on Monday. Police claimed that a PCR call was received at around 5 pm regarding firing at New Ashok Nagar in front of Yellow kothi.

"On reaching the spot, it was found that Dhabha owner Gaurav had an argument with one customer over mobile charging. The customer left the eatery shop and returned back after a few minutes with his two friends and fired at Gaurav. Gaurav has been hit in the right arm and shifted to hospital," said DCP (East) Jasmeet Singh.

Elderly killed

In another case, a 57-year-old woman identified as Geeta Saxena was found dead with a piece of clothes tied around her neck. The rings on her fingers, the gold bangles and a gold chain were found missing.
