Delhi varsity guest teachers fear losing jobs over 13-point roster system
New Delhi: With the ongoing tussle among the staff and administration of Delhi University over 13-point roster system, senior DU
professors claimed that this will eventually lead to massive change in the reservation of seats for professors in
the SC, ST and OBC category and many guest teachers would lose their respective jobs.
Hansraj Suman, chairman of the Delhi University's SC, ST and OBC teachers forum said,"Since the Supreme Court's dismissal of Review Petition, after the dismissal of the petition, the Central Government has not given any option to the ordinance on the roster and reservation so that the ordinance should not come before the election notification is issued. In such a situation, in the third week of March, there is a rumor about roster in colleges."
"The principals of the colleges have started making the department wise roster; they are in a position to see when a circular comes from the DU administration or the UGC and apply it immediately, some principals have told that they have already prepared the department wise roster," he added.
