After the Eid holiday, admission process resumed on Tuesday with some minor confusions in payment of fees.
The second day of admissions was overall smooth with no complaints of any technical glitches in the official website of Delhi University (DU).
Ankita Sharma, who had come to take admissions in B.Sc Physics said, "There was no such problem in the website when I browsed, I got the admission form printed yesterday (Monday) only."
Some parents had come to enquire about the withdrawal process at Motilal Nehru College, while some were concerned about the unavailability of original documents.
Suchi, who was aspiring to take admission into BA English (H) in Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College was worried about her admission as the "the school didn't issue the mark sheet yet".
An aspirant of BA Political Science (H), Bucchi Babu from Hyderabad who arrived Delhi on Monday said, "Though I couldn't come on the first day due to unavailability of tickets, I have come here with all the required documents, and I got my admission confirmed. Now I only have to complete the payment of admission fees."
Abha Devi, mother of a Zoology aspirant in Sri Venkateshwara College who came on the first day as well, said, "We have all the required documents, my son has gone inside and the admission will be confirmed soon."
While students were taking admissions, their parents were not allowed inside and no proper arrangements were made available for their stay in this scorching weather in Sri Venkateshwara and Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD).
"We have made arrangements in Commerce room, but since it is a bit far from here, the parents are not ready to stay," claimed a student at ABVP Helpdesk in ARSD College.
There were also some students who had come to enquire about the admissions in language courses.
The admission process under the first cut-off list will continue till Wednesday, and the time for paying the admission fees is kept until 12 noon on Thursday.
