Colleges and courses with highest cut-offs

With the first cut off list for admission to undergraduate courses 2017-18 in Delhi University announced on Friday, several colleges and courses hits the extreme in percentage.  Although the cut off was supposed to release on June 20, it was announced after three days if its scheduled date.

There are speculations over how much the cut off will be for this academic year but some believe that they will increase as compared to the previous year's cut off. This will be partially influenced by the marks moderation policy of Delhi University.

BA English (H)
The highest cut off was revealed by SGTB Khalsa College at 98.75 percent, closely followed  Lady Shri Ram (LSR) at 98 percent, Miranda House with 97.5 percent, Daulat Ram College and Hansraj College with 97 percent, and 96 percent in Kirori Mal College (KMC), Atma Ram Sanatan Dharama College, Dayal Singh College (Evening). Minority college Zakir Hussain reported 92 percent for its general category.

BCom (H)
Sri Ram College of Commerce, ranked among the best in the country, announced its first cut off at 97.75 percent, followed by KMC, Ramjas College, Hansraj College and LSR.

BA Economics (H)
For this most sought after course, SGTB Khalsa College revealed its cut off with 98.25 percent then followed by Ramjas, Kalindi and LSR are among the highest first cut off for the general category at 97.5 percent, closely followed by Hansraj at 97.25 percent.

BA Political Science (H)
SGTB Khalsa reported its political science cut off with 99 percent, then LSR at 97.5 percent for the political science course, followed by KMC at 97 percent. Whereas, Dayal Singh College (Evening) kept its first cut off at 90 percent.
