With cut-off dates for various high-profile Delhi University coming close, students' anxiety has reached a fever pitch, with many hoping for reasonable cut-offs if not on the lower side of the graph.
Students belonging to the Walled City of Shahjahanabad are particularly tense, as many of them appear to be inclined to studying in Delhi University and are highly motivated to realise their dreams.
Many students are looking forward to Commerce and Humanities courses, which seems to be the pedestal of success for many students.
Rahul Kumar Sharma, one such student, says: "I want to pursue B.Com Honours from Delhi University and want to become a chartered accountant to support my parents".
A majority of seats in the University are reserved for Humanities and Commerce-related courses. Most students from the Walled City are hopeful to make into prestigious college of the University, such as Hindu, Hansraj and Kirori Mal.
