Two people were on Saturday arrested for killing a man by slitting his throat and dumping his body in South West Delhi's Kapashera area. The accused were identified as Rudal and Prakash, while the deceased was identified as Om Prakash.
Police said Om Prakash, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was found with his throat slit inside a drain in Kapashera on May 30. When the family arrived to claim his body, they told cops that he used to work in a tailor shop with his relative Rudal.
Soon, police questioned Rudal, during which he made many inconsistent statements. Eventually, he revealed that he along and friend had murdered Om Prakash.
"When we questioned him, it was found that he had murdered Om Prakash over a trivial issue. The accused and victim had got into a fight days before his murder," said a police official.
