The Sub -divisional magistrate on Wednesday issued summons to the management of DPSG School after they failed to attend the meeting called by the public official on the issue of fee reduction.
The management has been directed to attend the meeting on Monday failing which a warrant may be issued against the school.
Even though the school management later claimed that missing the meeting was not intentional, the parents stated that this was another plot adopted by the management to refrain from reducing the fees.
Large numbers of parents have been protesting against the schools for hiking fees over 400 percent for more than two months.
To find the solution of reduction in fee, the SDM had called a meeting between the parents and the school management in his office.
