The Crime Branch has unearthed an interstate racket indulged in the supply of narcotics substance in various parts of Delhi and NCR along with an arrest of three people. Also, 95 grams of cocaine have been recovered.
The accused are of African nationals, Chinenye a resident of Sierra Leone, Luke and Chukwnemika both Nigerian nationals from Sector 2, Dwarka in Delhi.
Crime Branch received secret information that a Nigerian national indulged in supply of Cocaine in Delhi would come near a Hotel in Dwarka to deliver consignment of Cocaine to one of his customers. The team formed was led by Inspector P.C. Khanduri in the supervision of DCP Bhishm Singh who then nabbed the three accused.
"Chukwnemika, the main accused disclosed that he came to India in 2013 on medical ground. His visa got expired but he did not return back and kept on changing his address. One year ago he came into contact one Nigerian namely Alex who enticed him to sell cocaine. He indulged in the selling of cocaine in greed of money," said Joint CP Crime Praveer Ranjan.
Presently, Luke is residing in the locality of Chhatarpur, Delhi. He came in contact with Chukwnemika who lured him of huge profits in the illegal business.
Chinenye told cops that he came to India in 2012 on tourist Visa but did not return to his country. Earlier he stayed in Tamil Nadu but two years ago he shifted to Chhatarpur in Delhi.
The cops are now investigating their receivers to whom they supplied the drugs.
