CM inaugurates development works in four unauthorised colonies in Gandhi Nagar

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the development works in four unauthorised colonies of Gandhi Nagar assembly

constituency on Thursday. Lanes and drains would be

constructed under the project in these 4-colonies at an expense of Rs 5.84 crores. The inauguration was also attended by the

power. Work of roads-lanes, drains, sewer lines, water pipelines and street lights have been carried out in a huge number of colonies in the last four years by the Delhi government," said an official

A total of 181 lanes would be constructed under the project in these colonies. The total length of the lanes is 9.30 kilometres, while the total length the drain to be constructed is 6.10 kilometres. The work will be completed in August 2019. The total number of residents to benefit from the project once completed is 1 lakh.
