Bodies of two missing youths found near drain in Gr Noida

Greater Noida: Five days after they went missing, bodies of two young men were found near a drain in Dadri area of Greater Noida on early Friday morning. Cops said that the both the deceased, along with their another friend, had come to attend marriage at a village in Dadri and went untraceable after that.

According to police, the deceased persons have been identified as Arun (21) and Vishal (22). Both were natives of Dhamera Adda area in Bulandshahr and had come to attend a marriage in Shahpur village of Dadri along with their friend Shiva on April 21. Cops added that Vishal was an engineer at a private company in Gurgaon while Arun worked at a pathology lab in Bulandshahr.

Avanish Kumar, Circle officer, Dadri said that the bodies were spotted by a few passerby around 8 am on Friday who reported the matter to police.

"Police received information from a passerby and a team rushed to the spot. We found partially decomposed bodies of two young men lying near a drain along with a hero Honda motorcycle near Saraswati Shishu Mandir school. The bodies were later identified as of those two men who went missing around five days ago."

"The family members were informed while the bodies were sent for post mortem," said kumar.

The officer further said that they are yet to ascertain the exact reason behind the death and they are waiting for the autopsy reports.

"Prima Facie it seems that both have died around a couple days ago as the body have stared decomposing. As of now we cannot say how they have died but we are investigating covering all the possible angles," added Kumar

Meanwhile Neeraj Malik, Station House Officer at Dadri told Millennium Post that apart from Arun and Vishal, their friend Shiva was also present with them on the night of April 21.

"Victim's friend Shiva also came with them to attend the marriage. Arun and Vishal were missing since the night of marriage while Shiva was found on April 22 from Shahpur village."

"Upon questioning Shiva about the other two persons, he told police that all the three persons had met with an accident while coming back to home. Shiva went unconscious after that and as he gained consciousness, he found him along on the road and both his friends were missing," said Malik.

Police are yet to receive any complaint into the matter while a missing complaint was lodged earlier.

Meanwhile, victim's kin have alleged that they have been murdered and their bodies were dumped at a secluded spot from where they were recovered.

"We suspect that both of them have been murdered and their bodies were dumped here. We are waiting for the post mortem reports so that we can get a clear image and file a murder case against unidentified persons," said Pappu, Vishal's

brother.
