Autolifter held in Palam

New Delhi: The Delhi Police on Thursday arrested an auto lifter from the area of Palam Village.

With his arrest, four stolen motorcycles were recovered from his possession.

Police identified the accused as Kamal, resident of Palam in South West Delhi.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Devender Arya said that on March 26, at about 11:30 am they arrested the accused on the basis of secret information.

He further said that during sustained interrogation, he confessed his involvements in several other cases.

Further on his instance four stolen motorcycles were recovered from his possession.

"Accused Kamal Singh Tomer has studied upto 6th class. To earn easy and quick money he started committing vehicle theft, DCP Arya said.
