African national found dead

New Delhi: A body of an African national was found in South Delhi area on Monday. Police claimed that there is no any external injury mark from the circumstances and so far no foul play is suspected.
According to police, at about 7:40 am on Monday, the police team received a PCR call about the dead body of an unknown person near Ahinsa Sthal. Local police reached the spot and found one dead body of an African national aged about 30/35 years, lying near MG Road on the pavement near DDA jungle side. "We are trying to identify the person," said a police official.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Romil Baaniya stated that apparently there is no any external injury mark and from the circumstances so far no foul play is suspected. "The cause of death is not known. Crime Team called on the spot. Photographs were taken. Efforts are on to identify him. Intimation had been sent to African Embassies. Body sent to the mortuary and got preserved. Postmortem will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death," said the DCP.
