AAP leaders have lost their mental balance, desperate due to certain defeat: BJP
The Delhi unit of BJP on Tuesday said that after its defeat in Punjab, Goa and Rajouri Garden (Delhi), leaders of AAP have lost their "mental balance" and in view their certain defeat in the MCD elections, its leadership is in the state of desperation.
The party said that for the last month, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was trying to allure voters with freebies, after failing to counter the threat of dengue and chikungunya.
A spokesperson said that when his party's defeat seems certain after the exit poll results, Kejriwal is trying to raise defects in EVMs as an issue.
"The way Alka Lamba (AAP MLA) has been tweeting since morning shows the desperation of the party. (Kejriwal) said that AAP is not based on any political ideology, it was formed by a combination of heterogeneous elements for grabbing power, and when defeat is looming large on the party, it is disintegrating," said BJP leader Kuljeet Singh Chahal.
"We don't need to split any party. Those MLAs of AAP, who are dedicated to the nation and to the people, shall think over the present situation of their party and free the people of Delhi from the symbol of anarchism, Arvind Kejriwal, at right time," Chahal said on Tuesday.
