15 police teams formed to crack bank robbery in Mundka

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Wednesday constituted 15 teams to solve the case in which a burglary was reported from a cooperative bank in Mundka area on Monday. Police suspect there are high chances of insider involvement.
Police sources said they have not found any CCTV footage's of the burglary as the accused allegedly had taken the digital video recorder with them.
The wall, which was broken by the accused, was not a concrete wall, it was just brick wall which can be easily broken.
Police sources said the accused had planned the burglary perfectly and without the help of insider it cannot be possible.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Amit Sharma told Millennium Post that they have formed several teams which have been raiding in different areas.
''We have questioned several people and probing the case from all angles," said Sharma.
The senior police official, however, refused to divulge details claiming that the investigation could be hampered.
The cooperative bank remained closed on Saturday and Sunday and there was no guard in these two days.
The incident came to light on Monday after the bank was opened and the officials made a PCR call to police.
A few officials of the bank been been grilled by police and their call records were checked. Police are also probing that how much cash and jewelry were taken by thieves.
"Burglars had entered the bank after drilling the wall and also they cut several lockers and taken the money," said a police source. The CCTV, which was installed in the routes close to bank has been scanned.
"We have got some clues, we are working on it. The arrests will be made soon," said a police officer claimed.
