The Special Cell of Delhi Police has caught three with 11 kg of high quality hashish from Delhi. The worth of the catch is estimated to be Rs 55 lakh.

In the second week of February 2017, the Special Cell of Delhi Police received information that one Biru is supplying huge quantity of narcotic drug malana Cream-Red-Ice (A-grade hashish) to drug traffickers of Delhi and Goa for club parties. The cops then laid a trap to nab the accused with the party drug.

The accused had brought 20 kg of drugs from which 9 kg was delivered to a drug receiver in Delhi and the remaining quantity, that is 11 kg, was to be delivered to someone in Goa.

To act upon this information, a team under the supervision of Shri Govind Sharma, ACP of Southern Range of Special Cell was formed.
It was found that the accused was operating in Delhi and Goa through his syndicate members Rinku and Jitender. Bir Singh and Rinku are both brothers and Nepali citizens. Jitender is from Himachal Pradesh.

The cops suspect they have a wider network and it would be only after interrogation that the receivers would be traced.

"The accused Jitender Kumar has stated that he along with Rinku Kumar has transported over 35 kg of drug in two trips from Himachal Pradesh to Delhi. Efforts are on to identify and apprehend the forward and backward linkages of the chain," said DCP Special Cell PS Kushwah.
