National highway-24 that crosses the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border will be closed on Monday due to some religious protests, Delhi traffic police said on Sunday.
‘Both carriageways on the NH-24 from Ghazipur flyover in east Delhi to Uttar Pradesh border will be closed Monday for all types of vehicles,’ said a traffic advisory.
Traffic coming from south Delhi’s Nizamuddin to Ghaziabad will have to take a compulsory turn from NH-24 to the UP link road near Akshardham temple and go straight up to Noida gate, while commuters coming from Ghaziabad will have to take a turn near Hasanpur depot in Ghaziabad to enter Delhi.
