Delhi, NCR receive slight rainfall, more predicted in next twenty-four hours

Parts of Delhi and the National Capital Region received slight rainfall on Monday. The weatherman has predicted more rains in the next 24 hours.

'The weather will be cloudy, with rain or thunder showers at some places,' said a senior MeT officer. The weatherman has predicted the maximum and minimum temperatures to be around 34 and 26 degree Celsius on Tuesday.

The MeT office recorded traces of rain on Monday in nine hours ending by 5.30 pm, but some areas received light to medium rainfall.

The maximum of 26.8 mm of rain was recorded in Ayanagar, followed by 9.2 mm at Pitampura. Palam recorded 5.1 mm of rain.

The maximum temperature on Monday was recorded at 35.8 degree Celcius, which was one point below normal, while the minimum remained normal at 27.2 degree Celsius. The maximum humidity was recorded at 88 and minimum at 63 degree Celsius.
