The DJB released a list companies whose branded water meters have been approved. However, it later added the name of M/s Itron India Private Limited. In a statement in its website, DJB listed the names of Dasmesh by M/s Dasmesh Engineering works, Konarak by M/s Venus industries and Baylan/TK-23 by M/s Shrirang Sales Corporation as the “approved/empanelled brands of meters”. It also issued an advisory to buy the meters against proper memo guarantee card, so as to avail after sales service facilities.
