The high power advisory body will act as a bridge between experts and government besides working as a channel to get feedback from common people and various interest groups.

“We will strive to bring the best available technology to fulfil the promises in our 70-point action plan and also promises made in the manifesto. We will invite opinion from experts, common people and various interest groups through all the possible measures of dialogue- public meetings, seminars, conferences, presentations and also through online communication,” said Ashish Khetan.

“We will not confine to just the promises made in our political manifesto but also evolve as per the needs of changing requirements of Delhiites. DDC will strive for appropriate solutions to a range of civic issues by studying good practices, policies and plans from across the country and the world,” he added. Ashish was appointed with immediate effect and the first meeting of DDC is scheduled on Tuesday.
