‘Degree, Income, WiFi,’ AAP promises Delhi

Speaking on the occasion, former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal exhorted the youth to work to reinstate AAP government in Delhi with full majority and concluded the first half of the programme by laying down the slogan for the youth: ‘Degree, Income, WiFi. Aam Aadmi Party Laayi’.

The party also promised to guarantee of education loan to every student after XII standard with sole criterion of securing admission, which would cover their tuition fee and cost of stay. The much publicised- Delhi dialogue was organised at Jantar Mantar and with this the party launched its first round of public meetings on Saturday followed by an evening of musical concert by party leaders Bhagwant Mann, Raghu Ram and Jasleen, Swaratma and Vimlendu Jha.

The conference was focussed on youth and their problems like jobs, employment, skills, sports, culture, art and technology.

‘Over past two weeks our Delhi Dialogue team led by Ashish Khetan, Meera Sanyal and Adarsh Shashtri various stake holders like bureaucrats, government employees and elected representatives, businesses, non-profits, journalists and other people with expertise and student groups,’ said Nagender Sharma, AAP spokesperson.

He added the party has drafted a five point agenda for youths which include- Higher Education Guarantee Scheme, making Delhi a wifi enabled city and opening 20 new colleges in partnership with villages. In the dialogue the senior leaders of the party also participated in the interaction session with youths.
