Locals and family of the Delhi girl who died after suffering an acid attack in Mumbai recently, carried out a protest to demand a CBI inquiry into her death and cremation with state honours on Monday. Carrying her coffin, protesters and activists of the Aam Aadmi Party marched from the victim's Narela house in Outer Delhi to block the GT Karnal road.

Preeti Rathi, a resident of outer Delhi's Narela area, was cremated around 5 pm after a day-long protest.
'We have demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe, a state honour for our daughter and a job for one of the family members,' said Amar Singh Rathi, the girl's father.
