DDA’s (Delhi Development Authority) lucky draw scheme for Rohini flats has been challenged by a petitioner in Supreme Court. Rahul Gupta, the petitioner has questioned as to ‘why this draw is being held in closed doors while all others draws of DDA were held publicly. Are these plots even fully developed?’
He mentioned in his petition that whether the necessary infrastructure such as approach road, water supply lines been already laid. ‘DDA has not even applied for sanctioning the water and sewer schemes for this plotted pocket with Delhi Jal Board so far’, said Rahul in his petition. . Has the infrastructure for electricity availability is in place. Are the Parks, shopping complexes and other such fundamental facilities & services also completed,’ he asked.
He also stated that the 744 plots were carved out (on paper) in last two months by the Rohini planning division of DDA from raw land in Sector 38 of Rohini.
