With demand for housing in the national Capital on the rise, the DDA on Thursday announced a proposal for group housing for senior citizens through developers. ‘Considering the huge demand for housing in Delhi and also the directions of UD ministry to provide one million dwelling units by 2022, group housing through developers had been proposed in the authority meeting’, DDA said in press statement. As per the proposal, a total of 214.09 hectares land is available at Rohini Sectors 40 and 41 out of which 131.62 hectares have residential land use.
