Dairy owner shot at in Kakrola

A 44-year-old dairy owner was shot at in Dwarka area of south-west Delhi on Sunday morning. Police suspect personal enmity behind the crime.

‘The victim has been identified as Anil Kumar, who had come to meet someone near his house in Kakrola village, when he was shot at by four to five unidentified assailants,’ said a senior police officer.

The incident took place around 11 am.  The police was informed by a passerby.

A police team reached the spot, rushed Amil to the Ayushman hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical. The victim suffered three gunshot injuries in abdomen, waist and leg, said the official.

Police has registered a case of attempt to murder and started the investigation. ‘As of now, the statement of the victim has not been recorded,’ said AK Ojha, additional commissioner of police (south-west).
