A man has been appointed as the guardian of his four minor maternal grandchildren by a Delhi court on the ground that they have already been residing with him after their father died in 2008 and mother went missing.

Additional District Judge Sunil Rana allowed the plea of the man who had moved the court seeking his appointment as the guardian of four minors, saying they were residing with him and had no other near relatives with whom they could live.
