Under fire from an united opposition over the conversion issue, a BJP-RSS coordination meeting late last evening agreed that leaders needed to watch their utterances on the sensitive issue. The need of the hour was to ensure that PM Modi’s development agenda was not derailed. Top BJP leaders like Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj were at the meeting held at the residence of Nitin Gadkari. BJP sources, however, described it as a routine meeting.
