Eyeing on a fourth consecutive win in the Delhi Assembly elections, slated for 4 December, the Delhi Congress is attempting to select those candidates with sufficient chances of winning their particular seat. Meanwhile, a few sitting Congress’s legislators are anxious about their chances for a ticket because in last municipal corporation polls in 2012, the party lost all four wards. Delhi Pradesh Congress committee president Jai Prakash Aggrawal and Delhi chief minister, Sheila Dikshit, repeatedly said that the state election committee is giving greater precedence to those candidates who are capable of winning in upcoming assembly polls.
