The Congress on Tuesday appointed 21 spokespersons. Ajay Maken, CP Joshi, Satyabrat Chaturvedi and Shakeel Ahmed have been named senior spokespersons. The party has also appointed 31 media panelists and two media coordinators. Among the new faces is actor-politician Khushboo, who had quit the DMK last year.
President Pranab Mukherjee’s daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee will be the party’s face among television panelists. Manish Tewari has also been included in the list of media panelists. Ashok Tanwar, Ragini Nayak and Salman Soz are the other media panelists. The team of spokespersons is headed by Randeep Singh Surjewala.
