Soon after Anna Hazare’s two-day agitation, the Congress launched a scathing attack against the  Narendra Modi Government over the controversial Land Bill, with the party literally taking to the streets on Wednesday, organizing ‘Zameen Wapsi Andolan’ at Jantar Mantar, in the Capital. Even though the party’s top brass which includes Congress President and Vice-President-  Sonia and Rahul Gandhi - were conspicuous by their absence, other top leaders of the party shared the dais to voice their dissent. Present were senior leaders like Ahmed Patel, Digvijay Singh, Jairam Ramesh and others, who collectively accused the Government of being “anti-farmer”and “pro-corporate” and vowed to take the battle across the country.
