Cong govt is like gang from Wasseypur: BJP

Dellhi BJP, on Sunday, started its 40-day public movement by protesting on the streets of Peetampura and Shalimar Bagh in west Delhi. The movement has been launched to sensitise people against corruption and to ‘dethrone the corrupt Delhi government’.

‘The Congress government has become a Gang of Wasseypur. Its every leader, minister is busy in loot,’ said Vijender Gupta, president of Delhi state BJP, in a public meeting in Peetampura.

Gupta even alleged that Delhi Chief Minister was hand-in-glove with corrupt officers and power companies, and increase rates to benefit corporate sector. ‘When BJP will come to power, it will, first of all, cut electricity tariff and punish the corrupt,’ added Gupta.

‘Nobody is listening to the people. They are only left with the corrupt and inefficient government, which is just looting them,’ said Vijay Goel, National General Secretary of BJP.

Senior BJP leaders Dharmendra Pradhan, Rameshwar Chaurasiya, Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Vani Tripathi, Rekha Gupta and Poonam Bhardwaj were also present in the meeting, along with hundreds of party workers.
