Cmo, another doctor at RML suspected of having swine flu

The number of patients admitted with swine flu is on a rise and hundreds of people are rushing to the general hospitals in the city. As many as 21 new cases of swine flu were suspected in the capital. Those suspected have been admitted to Safdarjung, Ram Manohar Lohia and Lok Nayak hospitals.

S K Sharma, chief medical officer of swine flu detection centre at Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, along with a junior doctor, have also come under the attack of the deadly disease. Both have been put under home quarantine.

Dr M Wali, senior physician at RML Hospital in Delhi, advised the masses to protect themselves from the flu. With 21 more cases confirmed in the capital, all government hospitals are on alert and are following the H1N1 protocol, including having an isolation ward with dedicated staff at select centres.
