Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Thursday addressed a Bijli BYPL Bhagidari workshop. She exhorted the DISCOMs to bring more improvement in their consumer services. She further said that there has been a sea change in the power sector since 1998.
‘The supply position has improved and transmission losses have been brought down substantially,’ Dikshit claimed. The government has been encouraging conservation of power by providing subsidy on limited consumption of power.
