To ease the burden of the people, who have to make many rounds to the planning department to get the designs of their houses cleared, the Greater Noida Authority has decided to launch an online drive where the architectural design of the house can be submitted directly.
What makes things even easier for people is that the clearance for the designs submitted will be given immediately.
Greater Noida Authority is solely responsible for clearing the design of any residential building. Those who are planning to construct a new house or extending their already-built homes have to submit the design personally to the planning department which takes the final call in the matter.
But this is a lengthy and time-consuming process as the file moves to various departments before getting the final sanction or approval.
However, now the authority has planned to provide an electronic platform to people through which a person cannot just mail the design directly to the planning department but also ask questions, if any, related to the house.
Rama Raman, CEO, Greater Noida Authority said, ‘The online medium will bring transparency to the entire system. At present, people have to personally submit the design of the house to the officials of the planning department and have to wait for a long time to get it cleared. But now, they can submit the design through just one click of the mouse. Also, they will immediately get an answer on whether the design has been approved or rejected.’
Meanwhile, the authority on Wednesday allotted 2,616 flats under the BHS-17 scheme which has 2,989 flats of one, two and three BHK. Greater Noida Authority deputy CEO Manvendra Singh, GM Planning, Project and Finance were present at the time when the allotments were being made.
The authority will launch the institutional scheme where 100 plots will be allotted for nursery schools, degree and professional college next week.
