Home decor is not a mere fancy but an art, which requires excellent aesthetic sense and a good choice of material. Furniture and every object that is created for convenience is an individual sculpture, and should lift those who use them, as the house is not a mere shelter but a home.
Keeping that aspiration in view, the first-ever International Furniture and Home Decor Fair is being held from August 12 to 15 at Epicenter, Apparel House, Sector 44, Gurgaon. The four-day fair has been put together by ANM Exhibitions Pvt Ltd.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of products either manufactured in India or imported. The Fair will also have an international flavor with participation from Sri Lanka, Russia, Italy, Egypt, Myanmaar, Thailand and South Africa. The fair will also host some daily cultural performances and on the last day Independence Day Celebrations.
Covering an area of 2700 sq m, it is one of the largest furniture shows in the National Capital Region. It will have more than 42 companies from India and overseas demonstrating an extensive selection of furniture, interior and décor items for bedrooms, dining rooms, children’s rooms and kitchens ranging from economy to luxury. The exhibits will be on sale directly from exporters, importers and fabricators. There will be a Design Tour by experienced designers and architects of house, apartment and commercial interiors to show the most interesting products and ideas for furniture and accessories.
Anil Mehta, Chairman of ANM Exhibitions said, “We aim to introduce to the people of India, the style and charm of International Home décor and also organise a platform for domestic manufactures to introduce them to the new technology of production, design and perfection in conserving the environment and eco-friendly manufacturing.”
ANM Exhibitions was highly inspired by the powerful, galvanizing call to action to India’s citizens and business leaders, and an invitation to potential partners and investors around the world by PM Narendra Modi in September 2014.
It took almost two years to plan, design and to realize the idea of uniting the idea of “Make in India” programme.
